Do you have a fan group or street team?

I do have a fan group! At this time, I don't have a street team. Many of my amazingly dedicated fans still pimp me from time to time, but I like the intimacy of my group. I share exclusive excerpts, teasers, and do giveaways from time to time. You can join here.

Can I order signed paperbacks of your books?

I open up a form a couple times a year to order signed paperbacks. Check my Facebook page for more information!

What is the reading order for your novels?

I recommend reading HE FOUND ME first. And even though TEN BELOW ZERO is not an installment in that series, I recommend reading it in between HE FOUND ME and its sequel, HE SAVED ME, because TBZ introduces a character that appears in HSM.

Into the Tomorrows is book one in the Bleeding Hearts series. Its sequel, Back to Yesterday, will complete the story that began in book one. Book three in this series, which is currently untitled, will feature another character from the Bleeding Hearts series.

Will you consider writing a longer epilogue for TEN BELOW ZERO?

Never say never. In the meantime, please subscribe to my newsletter if you'd like to keep up to date on my books and any upcoming bonus scenes I may have for readers.

What/who inspired you to write TEN BELOW ZERO?

TBZ is based on real people, real experiences.

What is your writing process like?

So far it is different for every novel. I carry notebooks and I send myself a lot of emails with ideas. HFM took me the length of a pregnancy to write. TBZ took me 34 days. HSM took three months. Into the Tomorrows took me about four months.

Can I have an ARC of your books?

I only offer ARCs before my novel is published. I put out a form on my Facebook page and randomly select a handful of requests. I receive a lot of requests for ARCs and I wish I could give them out to everyone. I thank you for your interest! If you are a blogger, please contact me from my contact page.

What advice would you give an aspiring or new author?

To write for yourself. Don't write for the market. The market is always changing. But what doesn't change is the demand for a compelling story. And I think you're more likely to write a compelling story if you love what you're writing.

Who inspires you to write?

Talented storytellers. Tarryn Fisher, J.K. Rowling, Gillian Flynn, John Green, Jojo Moyes. I am really inspired by great poets, specifically Tyler Knott Gregson, Tyler Kent White, Christopher Poindexter, Ernest Hemingway, John Keats, and Mary Kate Teske.

When did you start writing?

I have always been a writer. I wrote stories growing up all the time, based on my experiences. But it wasn't until 2013, when a good friend read some emails I sent, a series entitled, "The Lunatic," and told me I had to be a writer - a published writer. Nine months later, I published HE FOUND ME.

I have heard your book is similar to other books because it had a road trip and deals with cancer.

I wrote a post on my Facebook page addressing this. I recommend reading it and the comments. The idea came to me from real life experiences. What you are reading is based on truth. The plot devices I used in TEN BELOW ZERO are there for a reason – and just because there are other road trip or cancer stories out there doesn't mean they can’t be written in an original way, with original characters.
